Now hiring!  Equipment Operator for Various locations around Saskatchewan ( not Nothern)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Civil Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of heavy machinery, including excavators and skid steers to assist in the construction and maintenance of large-scale civil projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.

• Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on schedule.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct site preparation, excavation, grading, and backfilling.

• Troubleshoot and report any equipment issues to the maintenance team.

• Maintain accurate logs and records of work performed.

Qualifications:​

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy civil equipment.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to maintain compliance with drug and alcohol testing results.

• Ability to adhere to GC Construction safety protocols, and client protocols.

• Certification from a recognized heavy equipment training program is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices.

• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different types of terrain.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
